Islam as a complete religion and code of spending life is a source of Hidayah for every Muslim. Sending messengers were to guide Muslims and to shield them from the tribulations of Satan. The book which has revealed and given to us is for acting upon them and to make it part of our lives by following the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
The personality of a person is a sign that what he/she is following. It must be a part of a Muslim personality to follow the Sunnah of Muhammad out of which one is to be thankful for all the favors of the Lord He has bestowed upon us. Surah Rahman, the beauty of the Quran entails all the favors of Allah, which one should be thankful of, in order to be down to earth to absorb and accept everything. The Quran says:
“Certainly did Allah confer [great] favor upon the believers when He sent among them a Messenger from themselves, reciting to them His verses and purifying them and teaching them the Book and wisdom.” [Quran 3:164]
Muslim character:
Muslim character is a balance one containing qualities of what the Prophet has advised us to adopt. Relationships should be in accordance to Quranic narrations and people around us should be treated with mercy and attention in order not to hurt them with our actions and sayings. Worship the one and only Lord and whenever in need ask for Him as He is the power to award and help.
This life is a life of four days so prepare for the life of the eternal which will last and will be never ending.
“Say, "Who has forbidden the adornment of Allah which He has produced for His servants and the good [lawful] things of provision?" Say, "They are for those who believe during the worldly life [but] exclusively for them on the Day of Resurrection." [Quran 7:32]
Faith in Allah:
With the faith in Allah, no Muslim can have the proper character building as per the narrations and teachings of Quran. This sheer conviction that whatever comes, comes from the high faith and no one can challenge. This attitude reshapes a Muslim into an optimistic one, which is the significant trait of a Muslim to enter into the circle of Islam as narrated:
“The strong believer is more beloved to Allah than the weak believer, but there is goodness in both. Guard what benefits you, seek help from Allah, and do not get frustrated. If something befalls you, then do not say: If only I had done something else. Rather say: Allah has decreed what is done. Verily, the phrase ‘if only’ opens the way for the work of Satan.” [Muslim]
Humbleness in attitude
Humbleness in attitude is the significant quality that a Muslim should pursue in his personality. Humbleness is part of faith motivating a Muslim to be fair in dealings and avoid hypocrisy. This attitude makes a person strong enough to absorb everything and listen to everything.
The best among us is the one who is good in conducts as stated:
"The best of you is the best among you in conduct.” [Bukhari, Muslim]
This humbleness eventually bends a Muslim down in front of His lord. Allah hates arrogance and despises His followers who even have a slightest of it in His heart.
“One will not enter Paradise, if one has an atom’s weight of arrogance in his/her heart.” [Tirmidhi]
In short, faith in the Exalted Rab and humbleness in personality are two significant traits that a Muslim person should have or try to attain. These characters lead to piety in persona, which is the most Comprehended and loved attribute in sight of Allah.
